📝 General Guidelines for Students
New Delhi Public School – School & Board Examinations

1. Timely Reporting:
Students must report to the examination center at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Latecomers may not be allowed to enter the hall once the exam begins. -
2. Dress Code and Identification:
All students must wear the complete and proper school uniform, including school ID cards. Entry without a valid ID or improper attire will not be permitted. -
3. Required Materials:
Carry only essential items: pens (blue/black), pencils, erasers, ruler, geometry tools (if applicable), admit card, and school ID. Borrowing is strictly not allowed during the examination. -
4. Prohibited Items:
The following items are strictly banned in the examination hall:- Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or any electronic gadgets
- Books, notes, chits, or unauthorized materials
- Calculator (unless specifically allowed for a subject)

5. Entry and Seating:
Students must sit in their designated seats as per the seating plan. Tampering with or changing seats is not allowed. -
6. Silence and Discipline:
Silence must be maintained at all times in and around the examination area. No communication—verbal or non-verbal—is allowed between students during the exam. -
7. Writing the Exam:
Use the first few minutes to read the question paper carefully. Attempt all questions as per instructions. Avoid overwriting, use of correction fluid, or writing irrelevant content. -
8. Academic Integrity:
Any attempt to cheat, use unfair means, or assist others will lead to strict disciplinary action including cancellation of the exam. -
9. Invigilator Instructions:
Follow all instructions given by invigilators. If any assistance is needed (e.g., extra sheet, clarification of procedure), raise your hand and wait patiently. -
10. Submission and Exit:
Submit your answer booklet only when instructed. Remain seated until all booklets are collected. Leave the hall quietly and in an orderly manner.
Note: In case of illness or emergency, parents must inform the school authorities with valid documents as early as possible.
